Every New Year Veliky Novgorod welcomes gladly visitors to experience the atmosphere of the magic Russian winter. Most of the festives take place on a New Year's Night from December, 31 to January, 1. The fireworks light the sky above the Sophia Square in the center of Veliky Novgorod near the Kremlin. 

Fairy-Tale New Year in Vitoslavlitsy - On the 1st - 3rd of January Vitoslavlitsy, the wooden architecture museum, awaits the guests for the festive holiday.
