In 2022 the XX International Folk Art and Craft Festival Sadko will be held in Veliky Novgorod.

The purpose of the festival is preservation, development and promotion of national musical and song, dance, festive and ritual culture, arts and crafts of peoples of Russia and foreign countries.

Every year the festival gathers artistic groups from different countries, representing their folk culture in the authentic and performance forms.

The festival is organised with the assistance of Ministry of Culture of Russia and Novgorod Regional Folk Art Centre
