The festival of bell ringing is a musical holiday that revives the art of tolling in Russia. The guests get a unique opportunity to learn about the traditions of bell ringing. 

At 3 p.m. on September, 12 bell-ringers from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Petrozavodsk, Vologda and Veliky Novgorod will perform traditional Russian chimes and modern bell arrangements at belfry of the St. Sophia Cathedral in the Kremlin. The guests will be able to hear the ancient bells of St. Sophia Cathedral.

The entrance is free.

On September, 13 the festival will be continued in the Museum of Wooden Architecture Vitoslavlitsy. The concert will begin at 2 p.m. on the bell tower of the church of Nikola from the village Vysokij Ostrov.

Entrance fee: 250 roubles (adults); 200 roubles (students); 500 (family ticket).
