The amazing event “Russian kettles” is dedicated to Orthodox holiday Savior of the Honey Feast Day. The holiday “Russian kettles” on Savior of the Honey Feast Day is a fascinating program for the whole family – meeting with traditions of Russian tea party, immersion into history and traditions of Savior of the Honey Feast Day, the atmosphere of cozy home tea party, great opportunity to learn the history of Novgorod porcelain.

Guests will see a lot of interesting things on this holiday. First of all they will learn the history of Desyatinniy monastery, architectural monument of 14th – 19th centuries. On the territory of the monastery is situated a National museum of art culture of Novgorod land. Then our guests will see the exposition “China museum shop”. This exposition is an impression, where the history of Novgorod china is connected with technology, multimedia “miracles” are combined with author’s installations. The interior of “China museum shop” is made in form of forge and it gives an opportunity to be carried in the atmosphere of china factory. Here our guests, surrounded with sparkling china work pieces, while drinking aromatic tea with honey will find out a lot of interesting details about the traditions of Russian tea party and the history of the Orthodox holiday – Savior of the Honey Feast Day. At the end of the holiday “Russian kettles” there will be the unique opportunity to create a wonderful souvenir – decorative china plate – with your own hands. Under the direction of artist our guests will paint, mark and pack their china work piece and take it with them.
